Here are two ways of thinking: Either you place the bed and bedside tables completely on the rug and then we recommend to have about 40 cm - 80 cm on each side, which makes our size 250x350 cm the best option in that case you have a double bed. However, if you have a single bed, we recommend the smaller size 180x270 cm. If you on the other hand just want the bed to fit on the rug, and instead have possible bedside tables on the side, 180x270 also works for a double bed.
