ABOUT
SIMON MULLAN
is educated at the Royal Institute of
Art in Stockholm and the University of Applied
Art in Vienna. His artistic practice primarily consists
of painting, sculpture, and installations, with
elements of video and performance art. Mullan
often utilizes everyday and functional materials
from working life, such as sandpaper, work clothes,
and tiles, in his practice. Through deconstruction,
previously used objects are broken down and
transformed into new ones, where his characteristic
lines and architectural aesthetics come to the forefront.
