In her photographs, Aida Chehrehgosha addresses issues of guilt and sorrow, where the feeling of pain may derive from the past, or from fantasy. In the series of 'The Balcony' she goes back to her childhood, and the difficult choices she had to face. It could've been manifested as only darkness, but as always her humor is present, making 'The Balcony' disarm the anxiety-tinged associations.
