In the dining room it is mostly to choose a rug with great durability, as this room often is used many times a day. We definitely recommend a wool rug, as the wool is naturally resistant and are the most easy to care for.

SIZE & PLACEMENT
At the dining table you have two choices; either you choose a size that allows you to pull out the chairs and still have them standing on the carpet, then around 75 cm is advisable as this creates a harmonious styling and enough space. The second choice is to fit them on the carpet, but only when they are placed by the table.
For a table with 4-6 chairs the rug in size 250x350 cm is perfect, while the second option allows you to go for the smaller size of 180x270 cm. The most common mistake is however to choose a too small carpet, so if you are hesitant, always choose the bigger!
