The inspiration behind the collection comes from the slow breakfasts Evelina has experienced over the years with family and friends. The rugs “Sunny Side Up”, “Plum Punch” and “Korean Chives” combine a lively color palette with the natural color scheme of jute and adds a touch of playfulness without compromising the classical expression.
ABOUT EVELINA
Educated at renowned Swedish university of arts and design - Konstfack - with a starting point in painting, coloring and set design, Evelina explores the border between art and its message. With her characteristic tape technique she creates a striking balance between a strict graphic 'expression and eclectic aesthetics that that references traditional female craftsmanship.
