About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and driven Buyer/Planner with experience in the textile industry to join our team. This role will actively work with our production team and partners in India, as well as serve as a link to our headquarters in Sweden. If you have a strong background in textiles, a good understanding of materials, and thrive in a role where you are the hub of operations, this could be the perfect position for you!

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Commercial responsibility for pricing and purchasing: In this role, you will have overall responsibility for implementing pricing strategies and ensuring, in consultation with the production manager, that purchases are made cost-effectively. You will analyze market trends and production costs to optimize pricing and maximize profitability. In close collaboration with the controller, sales, and marketing teams, you will contribute to setting strategic sales goals while ensuring that purchases are made under the right conditions and in line with the business strategy.
• Responsibility for sample processes and quality follow-up before production: You will play a key role in ensuring that the samples produced meet our high-quality standards before production begins. This involves closely monitoring and ensuring that all products meet the specifications and standards that have been established, both in terms of function and design. You will lead the quality control process through the entire production chain, from the first sample to final approval, working closely with suppliers and production departments to ensure that all products are delivered according to our high-quality requirements.
• Order placement and follow-up from production to warehouse: You will be responsible for placing and following up on orders from the start of production to when goods reach our warehouse. You will ensure that production follows the timeline and that all deliveries occur within the agreed-upon timeframes. In this role, you will be a key player in maintaining efficient logistics and communication between production, warehouse, and sales, ensuring that goods are handled and delivered as planned. By actively following up on all orders and deliveries, you can proactively address any delays or discrepancies and take action to ensure that we meet our commitments to customers and business partners.

Qualifications:

• Relevant higher education or equivalent work experience
• At least 3 years of experience as a buyer
• Experience in the textile industry, particularly with private label, and previous work with India is a plus
• A commercial mindset with strong analytical abilities
• Proficiency in Excel and other relevant IT systems; knowledge of Business Central 365 is a plus
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

As a Content Creator intern at LAYERED you are eager to learn and take on new challenges. At the same time you will add value to the company with your eye for details and your creative skills. You will work closely with our Designer and Creative Lead Lisa in creating and delivering engaging and inspiring content across our digital channels ensuring our digital presence supports and enhances our brand and delivers our messages effectively. 

The Content Creator internship is a unique opportunity to gain true insights and get hands-on experience of how it is to work as a Content Creator  in an inspiring, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment. You will be given responsibility from the first day and have the ability to contribute to the organisation on a daily basis. With a positive attitude, an ambition to learn and a hard-working mentality we believe we can offer you a great opportunity to gain important skills for the future while having fun along the way. 

Your primary focus will be on creating content för our social media channels  - paid and organic -  and for our website. If you have previous experience in working with moving imagery we are extra interested to make your acquaintance. 

What you'll do:

• Create graphics and edit imagery
• Create awareness and interest within our audiences, driving traffic to engage with digital content
• Assist in developing creative ideas and suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keeping up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends.
• Content publication in social media as well as handling comments 
• Create layout and copy for our newsletter
• Opportunity to own special projects such as competitive analysis, social media trends, etc.

Skills and requirements:

• Ongoing studies within visual communications, graphic design and/or art direction 
• Experience from working with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and premiere pro or other video editing software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• A team player with an ambitious attitude and a will to try and learn as you go
• A proactive self-starter; you aren’t afraid to ask questions and get things done
• Problem-solving abilities
• Fluent in Swedish and English

• Executing our Influencer Marketing strategy, this includes sourcing influencers, handling contacts, finalizing collaborations and handle follow ups and analysis
• Content publication in social media as well as handling comments and inquiries from followers and influencers
• Assist our e-commerce team with web copy and product information
• Opportunity to own special projects such as competitive analysis, social media trends research etc.

• Ongoing studies within E-commerce/Digital Marketing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in interior design
• A team player with an ambitious attitude and a will to try and learn as you go
• A proactive self-starter; you aren’t afraid to ask questions and get things done
• Problem solving abilities.
