SOFA GUIDE
OUR SOFAS
“A good placement is crucial for a successful interior design. If the placement of your couch is wrong you will never enjoy your sofa.”
CLASSICS
A classic formation is usually seen against a wall but can also be moved into the middle of the room. Then you, for example, make room for a table behind the sofa, or why not a desk? If you choose to place your sofa against a wall, ALWAYS move it out 7-10 cm. The air between the wall and the sofa provides a shade, which makes the room feel airier and more spacious.
L-SHAPED
This formation can also be replaced by a cornersofa - however, a cornersofa gives a more compact impression than two sofas. The table between these sofas illuminates and gives the styling a nice flow. The L-shape is directed towards the door to open up the room and the seating area.
FACING EACH OTHER
This formation suits an elongated room since it makes it more balanced. In this case you are met by a sofa's back when entering the room. A nice idea is to place some kind of sideboard behind the couch that you face when entering the room. The sideboard is a great place for decoratations such as books, plants and other beautiful items and this set-up also creates harmony for the person sitting on the couch.
ALONG THE SIDES
By placing the sofas along the room you improve the flow if the room is perceived as wide and disproportionately. This is a beautiful display if you, for example, have a fireplace and more seating furnitures to fill out the empty spaces with.
