Our 5 focus areas

100% recycled and eco-friendly fiber
100% of our rugs are made of natural or recycled materials, and all our viscose and Tencel rugs are made with certified Lenzing yarns. We also work with unsold leftover fabrics (deadstock materials), and undyed yarns to minimise our waste and make it easier to recycle and reuse fibres.

Increasing certifications
For increased transparency and accountability, we are working with several international standards, methodologies and certifications to monitor and manage our supply chain in a sustainable way. Moving forward, we are working to obtain more certifications, particularly in the areas of social responsibility and wool fibre sourcing.

Becoming more circular
Our products are designed to live long lives, and we work with selected partners to find new ways to improve their circularity.
Together with Beleco in Sweden and Frently in Germany, we offer circular services such as furniture and rug rentals for offices. We also work with professional rug cleaners to help our customers prolong the life of their products and minimise the number of items that are destroyed or go to landfill.
In collaboration with renowned auction sites like Bukowskis and Stockholms Auktionsverk, we are working to expand the premium second-hand market of our products. In 2020, the average closing bid for our rugs was 600 EUR. The fact that our used products maintain such high value, increases the owner’s incentive to give them a second life.

Reducing use of plastic
Using environmentally friendly packaging and reducing the use of plastics is a major priority for us. We only use recycled plastics and are working to change from recycled plastic to renewable packaging options wherever possible.
Since 2020, we have removed all plastics from our sample packaging and replaced it with packaging made of FSC certified recycled paper. We have also removed the printed information in each package and decreased the size of each parcel to minimise the risk of transporting air. Sample packaging accounts for a full 40% of our yearly outbound shipments.
